أقيم حفل الإفتتاح الرسمي لمؤسسة الصفوة للتنمية بالعاصمة عدن، والذي احتضنته قاعة مركز القاضي التجاري بمديرية المنصورة، صباح اليوم السبت 19 /ابريل/ 2025م، حضره عدد من المسؤولين والقيادات المحلية والدكاترة والأكاديميين والشخصيات الإجتماعية والوجهاء والأعيان.
وفي مستهل حفل الإفتتاح، تحدّث الأستاذ عمر سالم باصم، رئيس مؤسسة الصفوة، بكلمة ترحيبية للحاضرين، مؤكداً بأننا اليوم على أعتاب انطلاقة جديدة لمؤسسة الصفوة، والذي جاء تأسيسها بعد جهد ومثابرة وعمل دوؤب استمر لـ15 عاماً ماضية تحت مسمى منتدى شباب الصفوة، لتكمل ما بدأه الآخرون في المجال الإغاثي الخيري والإنساني، وتضع على عاتقها خدمة المجتمعات وتنميتها وتمكينها وتحقيق الاكتفاء الذاتي لها وانقاذ ما يمكن إنقاذه.
ثم توالت بعد ذلك عدد من كلمات المسؤولين والقيادات المحلية الحاضرة، بداية بكلمة الأستاذ ماهر قاسم، رئيس اللجان المجتمعية بمديرية الشيخ عثمان، وكلمة للأستاذ الدكتور سالم الشبحي، وكيل وزارة الصحة العامة والسكان، وكلمة أخرى للشيخ كمال باهرمز، عميد المعهد العالي للتوجيه والإرشاد بوزارة الأوقاف والإرشاد، ثم اختتم كلمات الضيوف الأستاذ نصر هرهرة، مقرر الجمعية الوطنية للمجلس الانتقالي الجنوبي، حيث قدموا خلال كلماتهم مباركتهم الإفتتاح الرسمي للمؤسسة، متمنيين أن يكون لها الإسهام الكبير والريادة في العمل التنموي والخيري والإنساني، مبدين استعدادهم للتعاون الكامل معها، لإحداث النهوض المرجو لخدمة المجتمعات في ظل الأوضاع الصعبة الراهنة، وأن تكون المؤسسة باكورة للعمل الانساني والمجتمعي في أنحاء ربوع الوطن.
وبعد إتمام الحفل، توجه الجميع لمقر المؤسسة بعمارة القاضي، لقص شريط الإفتتاح والتدشين لبدء العمل بشكل رسمي في أقسام ومشاريع المؤسسة، وتم تبادل التهاني والتبريكات مع رئيس واعضاء المؤسسة، وتوزيع الهدايا والحلويات للحاضرين بالمناسبة.
هذا وقد بدأ حفل الإفتتاح بمقدمة المبدع أحمد مشبح، ثم تلاوة آيات عطرة من من الذكر الحكيم قرآءها الحافظ محمد فتحي، كما تم عرض فيلم وثائقي برز لحظات التأسيس الأولى لمنتدى الصفوة، لتظهر بعده مؤسسة الصفوة بحلة جديدة قشيبة بعد 15 عاماً من العطاء المتجدد، وقصص النجاح المُلهمة، والخير الكبير المنقطع النظير.

The Official Inauguration of Al-Safwa Foundation for Development in the Capital, Aden
The official inauguration ceremony of Al-Safwa Foundation for Development was held in the capital, Aden, on the morning of Saturday, April 19, 2025, at the Al-Qadi Commercial Center Hall in Al-Mansoura District. The event was attended by several officials, local leaders, academics, doctors, social figures, dignitaries, and prominent personalities.
At the opening of the ceremony, Mr. Omar Salem Basem, President of Al-Safwa Foundation, delivered a welcoming speech in which he affirmed that today marks a new beginning for Al-Safwa Foundation. He explained that the establishment of the foundation came after 15 years of tireless work and perseverance under the name Forum of Elite Youth, and that the foundation now carries the responsibility of continuing that journey by serving, empowering, and developing communities, striving toward self-sufficiency and rescuing what can be saved.
This was followed by a series of speeches from attending officials and local leaders, starting with Mr. Maher Qasem, Head of the Community Committees in Sheikh Othman District; Dr. Salem Al-Shabhi, Deputy Minister of Public Health and Population; Sheikh Kamal Baharmz, Dean of the Higher Institute for Guidance and Preaching at the Ministry of Endowments and Guidance; and finally, Mr. Nasser Harhara, Rapporteur of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council. They all expressed their congratulations on the foundation’s official opening, wishing it great success and leadership in the fields of humanitarian, charitable, and developmental work. They also expressed their readiness to fully cooperate with the foundation to achieve the desired progress in serving communities amidst the current difficult conditions, hoping that the foundation becomes a pioneering model for community and humanitarian work throughout the country.
Following the ceremony, all attendees moved to the foundation’s headquarters at Al-Qadi Building to cut the ribbon and officially launch the foundation’s operations across its various departments and projects. Congratulations and warm wishes were exchanged with Mr. Omar Basem, President of the Foundation, along with the distribution of gifts and sweets to mark the joyful occasion.
The inauguration ceremony began with a warm introduction by the talented Ahmed Mashbah, followed by a recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an. A documentary film was then presented, showcasing the early beginnings of the Forum of Elite Youth and the inspiring journey that led to the launch of the foundation in its renewed and vibrant form, after 15 years of giving, success stories, and immense and continuous impact.
